Weldon Anstine Robertson Jr., 73, of Hampstead, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born April 28, 1937, in Marion Station, he was the son of the late Weldon Anstine Robertson Sr. and Desie Powell Robertson. He was the husband of Patricia Ann Brown Robertson, his wife of 51 years.
He was a steamfitter with the Plumber & Steamfitters Local 486.
He was a veteran of the Marine Corps and a member for more than 50 years of the Lance Corporal Robert W. Deane Detachment 770.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are son and daughter-in-law Dr. William L. and Gretta C. Robertson; grandchildren Noah, Zachary and Abigail Robertson; siblings Doris Hoch, Pauline LeBida, and Lucille, Ida Mae and William Robertson; and sisters-in-law Ellen Monahan and Elizabeth Wiegand.
He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Robertson.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
A private cremation will be held at the All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester.
