William "Dave" David Patterson, Jr.

William "Dave" David Patterson, Jr., 71, of Manchester, MD, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore City, MD.  Born on May 26, 1953, in Westminster, MD, he was the son of the late William David Patterson, Sr. and Ann Penny Patterson. He was the beloved husband of 33 years to Sandra Shuck Patterson.

Dave worked as a local automotive mechanic for many years; he was a very hard worker.  He enjoyed going to the target range, and spending time on his boat, especially with his wife. He also loved visiting and bonding with his grandchildren. Dave leaves behind his beloved mini-dachshund, Oscar.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are children: Ann Patterson and husband Rob Schanberger, Jr., Patrick Shuck and wife Rebecca, grandsons: Max, Logan, Tre, Wyatt, Caleb, and siblings: Mike Patterson, Marie Haines, Beth Hoff, and Steve Patterson.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, February 28, from 1-3 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, where a funeral service will begin at 3 pm.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the near future.  Please check back for updates.

Interment is private.
