On Wednesday, September 9, 2009, WILLIAM JOHN GIUFFRE, passed away after a 2 1/2 month battle with cancer.
He will be greatly missed as a husband and father. He was married for 35 years to Margot Calaminus Giuffre.
They have a son John B.C. Giuffre, two stepsons Wilhelm C. Helfrich and George Helfrich.
William grew up in Brookline, MA and graduated from Boston College and Johns Hopkins University. He was a prosecutor for the City of Baltimore and after his retirement he worked as a public defender in Towson.
In addition, he was a Professor at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, where he taught law courses.
A memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the First English Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3807 North Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21218.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be offered to First English Evangelical Lutheran Church.
