William Wesley Hartman, Jr. age 71 of Millers, MD. died Saturday Feb. 18, 2012 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, MD.
Born Aug. 26, 1940 in West Virginia he was the son of the late William Wesley and Edna M. Delawder Hartman. He was the husband of Doris Thorpe Hartman.
Years ago he was a mechanic and tow motor driver for Chesapeake Paper Board. He was an Army Veteran and a member of Black Rock Church in Glenrock, PA.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children: William Eugene Hartman of Jessup, MD. and Kenneth Lee Hartman of Millers, MD. Sister: Sharon Thompson of North Carolina, Brother: Ronald Hartman of Millers, MD. Step brother: Louis Loughry of Alabama Step sisters: Sandra Green of Taneytown, MD., June Bitzel of Westminster, MD. and Glenda Woerner of Orrtanna, PA. and 5 grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter: Deborah Jean Hartman and siblings: Bertha Mathers, Mason and Eugene Hartman.
Funeral services will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD. on Thursday at 11:00am. with the Rev. Gerald D. Fuss officiating.
Interment will be in Manchester Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7-9pm. and on Thursday from 10:00am. until the time of service.
