William Edward Houser, 95, of Westminster, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. Ed was born on July 22, 1927, in South Baltimore, to the late Dorothy Houser (Ridgeway).
He enlisted in the Marines at 17 years of age, worked at Domino Sugar for 33 years as the supervisor of the maintenance department and at the Naval Academy for 10 years as maintenance supervisor of the laundry. Ed would say he was a machinist by trade but really was a 'jack of all trades' and a master of most!
He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband to his surviving wife, Eleanor Marie Houser (Hoensch) and father to his five children, Paula Brown and husband Will, Deborah Hundertmark and husband Billy, Wendy Houser, Kim Houser and wife Lynn, and Vanessa Whitener and husband Cliff. In addition to his wife and children, Ed is survived by his 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and his sister Brenda Belt (Ridgeway); he was predeceased by his sister Dorothy Roach (Houser).
Services and interment will be private at Garrison Forrest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills, MD.
