William Myron Manko

William Myron Manko, 95, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Carroll Lutheran Village, Westminster, MD. Born on October 26, 1922 in Shenandoah, PA, he was the son of the late Michael and Anna Retick Manko. He was the husband of the late Anne Mary Manko.

William worked for many years as an attorney-at-law before he retired.  He was also a proud veteran and served his country during World War II. Among the many things he enjoyed was playing golf, and making trips to Florida: Marco Island was a favorite destination.

Surviving him is grandson: Jason P. Manko-Smith of Baltimore, MD, and a brother: Dr. Michael A. Manko of Newtown Square, PA.

He was predeceased by his sons: Eric M. Manko, and Philip George Manko.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, May 31, from 4-7 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 1, at 10 am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 63 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon, MD 21071. Interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
