William Colley Oler, Iii

William Colley Oler, III, 51, of Hanover, PA, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 17, 2017 at his residence. Born August 31, 1965 in Baltimore, he was the son of Catherine Jane Delloso Oler of Hampstead, MD, and the late William C. Oler, Jr.

Billy worked at Communications Electronics for 20 years where he was a Project Coordinator for MD FIRST Project. Billy had a love for cooking; he was a graduate of Baltimore Culinary Institute and worked as a chef at various area restaurants. He loved baseball and was an avid Orioles fan. He also enjoyed driving his '55 Chevy Belair, and vacationing with family and friends at Disney World.

Surviving in addition to his mother, is his brother: Robert Wesley Oler and wife Tara of Sparks, MD, sister: Anna Caroline Oler Pohl of Germany, nieces and nephews: Grace Elizabeth Oler, Justin Robert Oler, Alexandra S. Pohl and Christopher Pohl, and uncle: Joseph L. Delloso of Stewartstown, PA.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 20, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, July 21, at 11:30 am. Interment to follow in New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester, MD.
