William H. Witte, 84, of Owings Mills died Saturday, May 7, 2011 at his home.
Born June 11, 1926 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late William T. Witte and Lillian Rhodes Witte. He was the husband of M. Jean Witte, his wife of 64 years.
He was a veteran of the United States Marines Corps where he served in the Pacific Theatre. He was a Lithographer for American Can Company.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Dorothy Purcell of Fairfax, VA, William D. Witte of Reisterstown, and Douglas E. Witte of Baldwin; a sister Laura Wildberger of Delaware; his grandchildren S. David Purcell, Christine D. Purcell-Pelkey, and Elizabeth Ann Morris; and his great grandfather of 4.
A private cremation was held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in
Manchester.
Interment will be held 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
