Winifred Anna Paris, 92, of Hanover, PA, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, at her home. Born on November 21, 1932, in Pikesville, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Edward Long and Elizabeth Mary Phillips Long. She was the beloved wife of 58 years to Raphael "Brent" Paris, who passed away in 2015.
Winifred attended grade school at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, where she was also baptized and got married to her husband, Brent. She graduated from the Seton High School. She worked at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center for 54 years as a nurse anesthetist in the anesthesia department. Winifred visited 30 countries around the world and loved traveling. She was a member of the Mayberry Archers in Westminster. She was a talented archer, and participated in the Senior Olympics.
Surviving her is a daughter: Mary Eileen Paris-Fahey of Owings Mills, family friend: Philomene Palience Deugoue-Flores, and her caregivers from Zion Home Healthcare LLC.
Winifred was predeceased by her daughter: Elizabeth Marie Paris.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, February 14, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 15, at 10 am, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 101 Church Lane, Pikesville, MD 21208.
Interment to follow in Druid Ridge Cemetery, Pikesville, MD.
The family extends an invitation to join them at The Grill at Harryman House, 340 Main St, Reisterstown, MD 21136, immediately following interment.
